Children’s Halloween Party this Friday!

Children’s Halloween Costume Party at Story Time!

Get ready for a spooktacular fun morning at the Bridgton Public Library! We’re celebrating Halloween with a Children’s Halloween Costume Party during our regular Children’s Story Time on Friday, October 31st, at 10:00 AM in the Children’s Wing.

Families are invited to join us for a special Halloween-themed story time filled with festive tales, laughter, and community fun. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes—whether it’s a friendly ghost, a brave superhero, a silly monster, or something entirely unique! Costumes are optional, but we’d love to see everyone’s creative spirit shine.

Prizes will be awarded for the Silliest, Spookiest, and Most Creative costumes, so bring your imagination and have fun with it!

This event is designed for children of all ages and their families. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy stories together, meet other families, and celebrate Halloween in a safe, friendly, and festive environment.

No registration is required—just drop in, dress up, and get ready for a magical morning of Halloween fun. We can’t wait to see all the costumes and share in the excitement at the Bridgton Public Library’s Halloween Costume Party and Story Time!

We can’t wait to see you there!

Mini Spell Bags Craft Table This Weekend

Mini Spell Bags Craft —Available this Weekend!

There’s still time to join in on some spooky season fun at the Bridgton Public Library! Today and tomorrow take part in our Mini Spell Bags Craft at the Children’s Drop-In Craft Table, located in the Children’s Wing.

This self-paced craft is designed for children of all ages and is a wonderful opportunity for families to get creative together. Young crafters can design and decorate their very own mini spell bags — perfect for holding magical treasures, secret potions, or just a bit of Halloween spirit. The craft is simple enough for little hands, but imaginative enough to spark creativity in older kids, too.

No registration is required — simply stop by the Children’s Wing during library hours and enjoy crafting at your own pace. All materials are provided while supplies last.

Don’t miss this chance to bring a little magic into your weekend before the spell is broken and the craft changes next week!

Visit us at the Bridgton Public Library and make some spooky season memories with your family.
