Patron Appreciation Day Tomorrow!
You’re Invited: Patron Appreciation Day & Used Book Sale at Bridgton Public Library
There’s a crispness in the air and the leaves are painting the Lakes Region in brilliant shades of red and gold. Here in the heart of Bridgton, Maine, fall is a season for reflection, community, and gratitude. That’s why we’re so excited to invite you to a very special event that’s close to our hearts.
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 18th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Bridgton Public Library will host a Patron Appreciation Day & Used Book Sale, and we hope you’ll join us.
This isn’t just any book sale—it’s our way of saying thank you. To all the readers, learners, explorers, and neighbors who make our library a vibrant and welcoming place year-round, we want to offer our sincere appreciation.
Take What You Want, Pay What You Can
Browse a wide selection of gently used books—fiction and nonfiction, children’s books, mysteries, classics, and more. Whether you find one treasure or a whole stack, you’re invited to take what you’d like and contribute what you’re able. All proceeds will support the library and help us continue offering the incredible resources and programs that serve our community.
Warm Treats, Warmer Community
As you browse, enjoy a cup of complimentary hot cider and a homemade cookie or two, baked with care by some of our wonderful volunteers. It’s a small way to share comfort and connection on what we expect will be a lovely (and chilly) October morning.
All Are Welcome
This event is open to patrons of all ages—long-time library lovers and new visitors alike. Whether you come for the books, the cider, or simply to say hello, we’ll be happy to see you.
The Bridgton Public Library is more than just a place to borrow books—it’s a cornerstone of our community, and it thrives because of you. We hope you’ll stop by, stock up on stories, and help us celebrate everything that makes our little library—and our town—so special.
With heartfelt thanks,
-Your Bridgton Public Library
