National Library Week this week!

Come Celebrate National Library Week with Us!

From April 19th–25th, we’re celebrating National Library Week—a time to recognize the important role libraries play in our communities and to celebrate all the ways they help us learn, connect, and grow.

This year’s theme, Find Your Joy, is an open invitation to discover what makes the library meaningful to you. Whether it’s getting lost in a good book, trying something new, attending a program, or simply spending time in a welcoming space, there are so many ways to experience joy at your library.

Here at Bridgton Public Library, we’re honoring all the things that make our space special—from reading and learning to meaningful community connections. There’s so much to discover here in our shared community hub.

Looking for something fresh this spring? We’ve got recommendations ready for you. Hoping to spend a little time getting creative? We’ll have scrapbook stations set up all week in Youth Services and the Main Library where you can share your favorite library memories. Snap a photo, jot down a thought, or leave a quote—our staff will turn it into a beautiful page for you, no crafting skills needed.

However you choose to celebrate, we hope you find a little joy here with us. Let’s make it a week full of fun, discovery, and connection—we can’t wait to see you.
