From the Library Director

Through September we will continue to be open to the public by reservation only. Please go online (bridgtonlibrary.org), email (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us), or call (207-647-2472) to make a reservation. Our hours are limited, and we ask each person/family group to make no more than one reservation per week.

We will continue no-contact book drop-off and pickup, too. Our book drop hours will be T: 10-4, W: 10-4, F: 10-4, Sat: 10-3. Just ring the doorbell for service!

Please remember that we have free wi-fi in our courtyard and parking lot for your remote school and work needs, as well as activity bags to-go and on-demand printable activities. Interlibrary Loan service is now available through the state, so if you would like to request something we don’t have in our online catalog just click on the Interlibrary Loan form link and let us know what you need.

We are so grateful for the funding provided for July 1-September 30, 2020 by The Maine Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan of 2020.

Our staff has been amazing and resilient in re-thinking how we serve our community, but we would not be able to provide these services without the support of our donors, the 4 on the Fourth Race, and the Town of Bridgton outside agency grant program as well.

Thank you, all, for your continued use and support.

Sincerely,

Amy Stone, Library Director
