Friends of BPL Meeting

Get Involved with the Friends of Bridgton Public Library

The Friends of Bridgton Public Library is a dedicated group of community members who support our library through fundraising and volunteer efforts. From our annual book sale and book donation day to helping with local events like the Four on the Fourth race, the Friends help ensure the library remains a vibrant hub for learning, reading, and community connection.

The Friends meet this month on Wednesday, March 11 at 9:00 AM via Zoom. Meetings are a great way to learn about upcoming events, share ideas, and find ways to give back to the community while supporting your local library.

For more information or to get involved, stop by the Bridgton Public Library circulation desk or visit our website to learn how you can help make a difference. Volunteering with the Friends is a fun and meaningful way to stay connected to the library and your community!

Daylight Savings Time Sunday

Spring Forward!

It’s time to “spring forward!” Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, so remember the time will be changing for most devices, or don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday night for your analog devices.

Yes, we lose an hour of sleep—but we gain something even better: longer, brighter evenings and the welcome signs of spring on the way.

The Bridgton Public Library is closed on Sundays, but we’ll be back open on Tuesday with our normal hours and programming. Stop in, say hello, and pick out something good to read while the days get a little sunnier.

Spring is on its way, Bridgton—we can feel it!
