As we build Bendable Maine into a life-long learning portal for all Maine residents to explore their interests, share their passions, and learn new skills we are also thinking about ways to share our creative talents as a community. Please contact us if you are an artist interested in displaying your creations. Our walls and shelves are a reflection of our community, and everyone is invited!
Please join us on Fridays for storytime here at the Library from 10-11 am. We will have a story, a craft, and a snack to share. We will also be hosting a Kid’s Writer’s Cafe and Build-It Lab projects for older siblings! Racheal, Alana, and Alicia will all be there to help caregivers and kids with their activities.
Pick up your 1000 Before Kindergarten reading log. Don’t worry, if you read the same book over and over, we know what it’s like to have a FAVORITE story! It is most important that you are reading to your little ones today so they will read to themselves later in life. And with 1,000 as your goal, you should be able to introduce some new favorites into storytime, one at a time.
