Welcome 2023

Welcome 2023

Welcome 2023 with our annual Winter Read. We have recommended reading lists and easy-to-find book displays throughout the library. Raffle drawing will be Wednesday, February 1st. Download a reading log from our website or drop in and pick one up at either of our circulation desks.

Join us on Fridays for storytime here at the Library from 10-11 am. We will have a story, a craft, and a snack to share. We also have building projects ready to go for those who like Duplos, Legos, and K-nex creations. Racheal, Alana, and Alicia will all be there to help caregivers and kids with their activities.

Please join us for an interlibrary middle school book club! In partnership with the Harrison, Naples, and Casco libraries, we are excited to be the host for January’s meeting.

We will provide a safe space for middle schoolers and allies to explore and discuss our book list.

The first meeting on 1/11 is for a social meetup activity and the second meeting on 1/25  is to discuss the book of the month. This month’s title is Middle School’s a Drag: You Better Werk! by Greg Howard.

Thanks to the generosity of Loon Echo Land Trust we are pleased to offer snow shoes and poles for people to borrow. Enjoy the snow while we have it! And please enjoy the many trails in the area, including Pondicherry Park.

We have plenty of recommended reading lists and our staff is always available and happy to talk about their favorites! Try a new type of book, learn about a new topic, listen to an audiobook, or download an ebook. Racheal is available Friday afternoons 2-4 pm each week for one-on-one technology assistance. Happy Reading
