New Storywalk Coming to Pondicherry Park!

Just in time for the new school year to begin we have an exciting new Storywalk installment available for viewing along the Pondicherry Loop Trail.

Forest is an illustrated storybook with parallel English and Spanish text, which brings awareness to deforestation and environmental protection while strengthening bilingualism and reading skills in all who enjoy reading along

Join fisherman Finn and his dog, Skip, in their adventure through the towering rainforests of Central America, and discover how human actions, such as cutting down and burning down trees, affect the environment and the animals that live in them.

With a fun story line and beautiful illustrations, this book is the ideal introduction to the environmental concerns facing our forests and a perfect bedtime book that grown-ups and children will enjoy reading together:

– Easy-to-follow bilingual book with side-by-side text in both English and Spanish
– Lively story with quirky illustrations to make reading fun
– Inspirational and powerful message about nature and conservation
– Excellent for learning new foreign words and phrases

Decide which language you prefer for your storywalk, gain new vocabulary, and learn how recycling and using ethical practices can help save the forest and its animals.

Un divertido libro ilustrado con texto bilingüe en inglés y español para promover la conservación de los bosques y el amor por la naturaleza. Acompaña a Finn y su perro, Skip, en esta divertida aventura por las selvas del Amazonas y aprende inglés mientras te diviertes.

Bridgton’s Music On Main Highlights

Wow, thank you to everyone who came out to join us last weekend at Bridgton’s Music on Main. In case you missed it Canaan Smith and TJ Swan gave epic performances at Music on Main’s new stage location; it was truly an unforgettable night!

Racheal was there to share all about the good things happening at the library—and thank you to those from the Friends of the Library and our Board who showed up for an incredible show. We couldn’t do it without our support team and our amazing community.

Thank you to @musiconmainbridgton for your hospitality and for highlighting so many great nonprofits right here in our community!
