We had a very special guest for Story Time on last Friday morning. First Responder Charles Deshensky from Bridgton Fire & Rescue came to the Children’s Room to talk about a very exciting topic—firefighting! We had such a great turnout and are so lucky to have such a caring rescue team keeping our community informed and safe. Thank you, Bridgton Fire & Rescue, for your support and service, and thank you First Responder Deshensky for joining us for a very special Story Hour!

Storywalk in Pondicherry Park

In partnership with the Loon Echo Land Trust Storywalk returns to Pondicherry Park this summer along the Pondicherry Loop trail. Our first feature will be “At One: In a Place Called Maine” by Lynn Plourde a delightful story about the beauty of Maine accompanied by wonderful watercolor images. 

Our following installment will be “Over and Under the Pond” by Kate Messner and illustrated by Christopher Silas Neal. Keep an eye out on the trail as there is more to come this fall.
