Children’s Story Time

Children’s Story Time – Friday, March 20th at 10:00 AM: Pigs!

Join us at the Bridgton Public Library Children’s Story Time on Friday, March 20th at 10:00 AM for a fun-filled session all about pigs! We’ll read delightful stories, sing silly songs, and explore the playful world of these friendly farm animals.

Each week, we add a little extra fun—kids may dress up, take turns, enjoy crafts, play games, or dance—bringing stories to life while building early literacy skills is what we’re all about!

Come giggle, wiggle, and learn with us! Story Time is the perfect morning for children and caregivers to enjoy books, movement, and imagination together.

We look forward to some barnyard fun!

Women Authors Highlight

Of Interest: Women Authors

This month’s Of Interest display at the Bridgton Public Library shines a spotlight on outstanding women authors whose books span genres, styles, and perspectives.

From richly detailed historical fiction to imaginative fantasy and powerful literary storytelling, women writers continue to shape and expand the literary world. Our display features titles from authors such as Lisa See, known for her vivid historical novels; R. F. Kuang, whose bold and inventive fiction blends history, fantasy, and cultural commentary; and Louise Erdrich, celebrated for her deeply moving stories of family, culture, and identity.

Whether you’re discovering a new voice or revisiting a favorite author, this display offers a variety of compelling literary works.

Stop by the library to browse the collection—you might just find your next favorite author.
