Connect @ the Library to Discuss: Education

We are really excited to hear your thoughts about the kind of community you want to live in and what role education can play in that future. Maine Ed 2050 is a state-wide community research and engagement project, using small group conversations and the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to lift up voices from all over Maine. Your voice will inform legislators, school boards, education organizations, and business in a collaborative renewal of our system of education. Change is here to stay: let’s plan for it. And we are hosting a series of conversations here! Talk with people in your community about what you see in our future.

We will be hosting several in-person and online opportunities for you to be part of the conversation through the month of May, and again in the fall. Contact us by email (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us), by phone (207-647-2472), or at the Main Circulation Desk (upstairs) to register.

Looking ahead to May

Looking ahead to May

Looking ahead to May we will be offering Swap Tables on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays during our open hours in the Courtyard. Each month we will have a different theme, and we are opening with Garden and Seed Swap for May.

We will also be offering different ways for you to share your thoughts and stories on different community-based projects through the year, starting with EdForum 2050 where we will be asking your thoughts on education and its impact on our community.
