Learn About Water and Erosion Today!

Soil on land is good but soil in water is pollution. Learn about the most common water pollutant, the process of erosion, and how to prevent it. An outdoor erosion scavenger hunt at the park turns participants into real environmental stewards. Guaranteed to be lots of fun, get ready to put on your thinking caps! Please make sure you have sun protection and water to drink for this outside activity. Best suited for ages 7-12.

Maine Children’s author Tamra Wight is bringing her Junior Library Guild-selected “Cooper and Packrat” series to Bridgton on Friday, July 13th 2:00-3:30. She will talk about her hands-on wildlife research and how it inspired this middle-school series. She will also show wildlife photos and tell first-hand stories of the wildlife scenes she has witnessed!

This event is suitable for all ages. All four books will be available for purchase and signing.
