Get to know your neighbors! There are more than 1,500 native plant species in Maine. Join us for youth nature journaling at the library Friday, June 24th at 11:00 am.

If you are an adult and would like to know more about nature journaling, please give us a call (207-647-2472), email us (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us), or stop by and let us know. We’ll get something scheduled as soon as we can!

We are pleased to be a host for one of this summer’s Read ME authors, Phuc Tran. He will be here Tuesday, July 19th at 7:00 pm here in the courtyard. If we are unable to use the courtyard due to weather, we will meet in the Main Reading Room and offer a zoom link for those not comfortable gathering inside.

Read ME is a statewide summer reading program offered by the Maine Humanities Council and Maine State Library that gets Maine’s adults all reading the same books. The Maine Humanities Council is a statewide non-profit that uses books, poetry, and big ideas to bring people together to discuss issues of importance. MHC programs and grants encourage critical thinking and conversations across social, economic, and cultural boundaries.

Thank you to the Maine Humanities Council for making this author event possible.
