Just a reminder that May is almost here… and we are celebrating with May Baskets! Please join us Saturday, 4/30 10-11 am for our May Basket workshop. Fresh flowers from Warren’s Florist will be available for you to create your own little spring gift to leave for someone or to enjoy yourself. Register by emailing (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us), calling (207-647-2472), or by stopping by the Main Circulation Desk by Friday, 4/29.
This month we will be starting our community swaps, held the 1st and 2nd of each month with each month having a different theme. The swap will be held in the library’s courtyard from 10-2 PM with people being about to drop off items starting at 9 AM. We ask that all items are in good/working conditions and labeled with what they are.
This month’s swaps, to be held on May 7th and 14th, will have the theme of gardening. Items related to gardening and plants such as tools; pots and planters; and books related to gardening and plant care along with any extra seedlings or plants are all welcome.
We look forward to seeing what everyone brings and we hope you enjoy this opportunity to let go of items and to find something new to you
