Anne Gass (We Demand: The Suffrage Road Trip): Wednesday, September 23rd, 3-4:00 pm

Each author will read from their selected work and have a question and answer time after. Books are available for order from Bridgton Books. We are looking forward to having these talented local authors! 

 

Gregory Brown will be here at the Bridgton Public Library Courtyard (as weather allows). We welcome him to read from his newest novel and answer any questions you may have on his novels or his writing.

The Lowering Days is Brown’s debut novel, set along the banks of the Penobscot River. A meditation on the flow and weight of history in the rhythm of the natural world, this exploration of the power and fragility of love is an examination of the dangerous fault lines of families and the enduring land.
