Portland Public Library special guest access…

While all Portland Public Library branches are closed until Monday, March 30th, they continue to offer some great things through their eResource sections. They are our Area Resource Center Partner Library, so Bridgton Public Library card holders can also obtain Portland Public Library cards free of charge. Click here to download the application, complete it, and drop it in our book drop, and we will call you with the Portland Public Library patron number. Partner Library Application

They are also offering a temporary eResource library card, just email lending@portlib.org and they will get you set up with access to some great online resources beyond the cloudLibrary and DigitalMaine databases we have subscriptions through your Bridgton Public Library card.

We Will be Closed through April 7th

Our building will be closed to the public through Tuesday, April 7th. All programs, workshops, and activities are canceled. All items that have been checked out will have updated due dates. We are working with libraries that have already loaned us materials through Interlibrary Loan and will address those as needed. We will not be able to accept any new Interlibrary Loan requests at this time.

Please call us at 647-2472 or use our online catalog to request Holds and make Purchase Suggestions. We hope to be open for limited services soon with your health and safety in mind.

We would like to remind you that cloudLibrary is available, and there is open access to our Wi-Fi as well. Portland Public Library is making special online guest accounts available, so you can take advantage of their expanded online databases and services.
