This Week’s Story Time

This Week’s Story Time

Children’s Story Time – Friday, March 27 at 10:00 AM: Musical Instruments!

Get ready to make some noise at the Bridgton Public Library Children’s Story Time! This week, we’ll explore musical instruments through lively stories and songs that get little hands and feet moving to the beat.

Each week, we mix reading with playful activities—kids may play games, take turns, enjoy crafts, dress up, or dance—all while discovering the joy of stories and building early literacy skills.

Join us for a morning full of music, movement, and imagination. Story Time is a wonderful opportunity for children and caregivers to connect, play, and learn together.

March Craft Table

March Craft Table

Youth & Children’s Craft Table this Month

This month at the library, kids can get creative at our Children’s Craft Table by designing their very own book covers! Located in the Youth and Children’s Services area, this activity invites young artists and readers to imagine the cover of their dream book.

Children can color and decorate a blank book cover template—thinking about the story they might tell, the characters who might appear, or the kind of adventure their book would hold. From magical forests and brave heroes to silly animals and snowy adventures, every cover will be unique.

It’s a fun way to spark creativity while celebrating a love of books and storytelling. Stop by Youth and Children’s Services during your next visit and try it out—we can’t wait to see all the imaginative book covers our young patrons create! 🎨
