StoryWalk at Pondicherry

StoryWalk at Pondicherry
The StoryWalk is up in Pondicherry Park! StoryWalks combine literacy with physical activity and time in nature. Read your way along the trail! The first story is At One in a Place Called Maine and is a featured title at Bridgton Public Library. Thank you to Loon Echo Land Trust for this wonderful opportunity to enjoy our two favorite things: books and nature!

The first story will be up for two weeks, hope you have an opportunity to check it out.

Access the trail via the Bob Dunning Bridge entrance to the park. The signs are up in the purple highlighted section of the trail (see map). Page 1 is at the first intersection of the Pondicherry Loop, the last page is at the amphitheater.

Need a trail map? They are available at Loon Echo Land Trust and Bridgton Public Library. Happy Summer!

Looking to August…

Looking to August…

Our Summer Reading Adventure is in full swing. Log the books you read to earn badges and rewards. Kids and teens earn small prizes for each book you read and raffle tickets to enter into our Grand Prizes Raffle. Adults earn raffle tickets, too. You can choose to keep track online Summer Reading Adventure or on paper, just pick up a reading log at either circulation desk.

We also now have our Lego Master Builder in Youth Services. One builder (or a builder and sibling) will be given a special Work Zone, a bucket of legos, and thirty minutes to build a Master Creation. Sign up through our website or ask at the Circulation Desk.

Just a reminder, we have Museum and Park Passes available for checkout on a first-come first-served basis and our Special Collections are available for checkout as well. These include Activity Kits and a Telescope in Youth Services, and special cooking tools for adults by the Main Circulation Desk.
