Creative Valentines To-Go in Youth Services

Creative Valentines To-Go in Youth Services

Thank you to the Rufus Porter Museum, our wonderful neighbors here on our cultural corner. They have put together some Creative Valentine To-Go bags, available in Youth Services while supplies last. Learn more about the history of the holiday and create your own special gift for a special someone.

Rufus Porter was an artist, musician, teacher, inventor, and founder of Scientific American magazine. He lived his life as a lifelong learner, something we really love here at the Library! So grab a To-Go bag, and maybe a book from our reading lists or non-fiction how-to collections.

Winter Read 2021 Wrap Up

Winter Read 2021 Wrap Up

January was a great month for reading! We had over 30 participants who have registered their reading logs so far, and we are accepting them through Friday, February 5th for the grand prize raffle for adults and for earned prizes for kids and teens.

Altogether, we have registered 139 books for adults and 3,692 minutes for kids and teens. The grand prize raffle for adults will be your choice of either a gift card to Bridgton Books or Food City, and we will let the winner know by the end of the day Friday, February 5th.

Have a reading log all filled in but late in getting it back to us? Don’t worry, your reading log will be counted in our Spring Read we are planning for April.

Please call (207-647-2472) or email (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us) with any questions. Happy Winter, Everyone!
