SoulCollage starts Saturday!

Jan 11th 2020  SoulCollage in the New Year

Ring in the new year in a new way. Create a SoulCollage!

If you know how to use scissors and glue, you can make a SoulCollage card. Not a folded greeting card to send in the mail, but a personal mini-collage to keep for yourself. No background in art or specific artistic talent is required.  You do not have to draw anything from scratch. Beginner and experienced SoulCollagers welcome. A large assortment of recycled magazine images will be provided for your use. It’s easy, meaningful and fun!

Join us Saturday, January 11th, 12:30-2:30 in the Meeting Room at the BPL. Pre-registration appreciated but not required. Bring a friend and have a great time creating! Funding provided by the Friends of the Bridgton Public Library.

Winter Activities

Winter Activities

With the holidays approaching and winter finally here, Bridgton Public Library has some great things to offer! We will be continuing our weekly programs, including Technology Help, Tunes for Tots, Kntting and Needlecraft, LEGO Club, and Preschool Storytime. We are adding Crafternons for Adults starting January 15th. Miss Samantha has put together a fantastic Winter Reading Program for youth starting in January, too. Join us for a SoulCollage workshop series, Daily Art Journaling workshop series, and a Grow an Indoor Herb Garden workshop presented by UMaine Cooperative Extension. Our book clubs are all going strong and meeting through the winter months. Even if you can’t attend the meetings, they select some great books that are worth a read. We will have To-Go bags for adults and youth through the winter to help keep busy hands, well…, busy. Thank you to the Friends of Bridgton Library for funding all of these programs and activities!
