Happy Pride Month from all of us at Bridgton Public Library 🌈
June is a time to celebrate love, identity, and the many ways our community shines. We’re proud to stand in support of LGBTQ+ voices, stories, and histories, and to offer a welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors.
We also want to highlight the upcoming Denmark, Maine Pride celebration—a joyful community event bringing people together to celebrate inclusivity, connection, and pride right here in our region. Join us Saturday, June 27 12–4pm for an afternoon in Denmark’s Bicentennial Park celebrating PRIDE and its history from 12-4pm. A free community celebration with over twenty vendors for this Rain or Shine event in Bicentennial Park! Bring your best PRIDE raingear to celebrate whatever Mother Nature throws our way!
Join The Rhinestone Room-Mock Tails, Terra Firma Food Truck, and a bit of ingenius commerce for an afternoon of fun.
Music by DJ XO with an afternoon of performances with Drag Queens Tasha Tectite, Chartreuse Money, and Miss Information
Vendors & Artisans include Healthy Oxford Hills, OUT Maine, Goblin Museum, Lily The Barber, BIG Roaming Puppets, a Variety of Artists, FOOD TRUCKS: Dragon Wagon & Sail Away Coffee & SO MUCH MORE!
However you choose to celebrate Pride Month, we hope you’ll find stories that reflect, affirm, and inspire you here at the library. 🏳️🌈
