October is a busy month at BPL, with plenty of reasons to stop by, settle in, and spend some time with us. We’ll be making space for community conversations, sharing ideas, browsing for books, and celebrating the season together.
Join us today (October 2nd) for a community conversation with the Maine State Library about AI, and stop in during Voter Education Week, October 6th–10th, for resources and information. Our Donuts & Discussions gathering returns October 6th, followed by our much anticipated Patron Appreciation Day Used Book Sale on October 10th—an easy excuse to stock up on some new-to-you books.
And as the month winds down, we’ll have a special Halloween Storytime on October 30th before closing out October with our annual Cemetery Walk with Mike Davis on October 31st. Don’t forget to check our adult craft-to-go, as well as our fall Makers Table for fun in-house crafting all month long.
With book clubs, programs, and plenty happening throughout the month, we hope you’ll find a reason to come see us this October.
