Join us for Juneteenth

The Bridgton Public Library is hosting an open mic in celebration of Juneteenth. Juneteenth highlights the emancipation of enslaved black people in America two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Many Black communities celebrate Juneteenth today through food, music, and empowerment!

Thank you to the wonderful artists from Gallery 302 for making our Resource Room so lovely. Please stop by and see some beautiful and thought-provoking pieces on display, and connect with local artists’ works.

And please, excuse my photography…

Sincerely,

Amy Stone, Library Director
