Bookies Book Group Meets This Wednesday!

Did you know your Bridgton Public Library has community groups? We have lots of different ways to get involved at your local library, from gaming groups like D&D, to crafting, to Book Club, we are building community through fun activities for children and adults.

This Month’s highlight is our Book Club group, The Bookies! This Wednesday 8/27 from 3-4pm, we are gathering to discuss “The Berry Pickers” by Amanda Peters. This is the Author, Amanda Peter’s, debut novel, and the Winner of the Andrew Carnegie Medal of Excellence in Fiction, and the Barnes & Noble Discovery Prize Winner in 2023.

Whether you’re looking to join the tail end of the summer fun or would like to join us this fall—See our Circulation Desk for more information on how to get involved in The Bookies, or our other exciting community groups happening each week. We can’t wait to see you there! ☀
