August Community Swap

August Community Swap

It’s already getting to be that time of year, back to school. Be prepared by bringing school supplies you no longer need so that a student can be ready for their first day back. Backpacks, clean and free of stains and tear school clothes and shoes will also be accepted. Any and all pens, pencils, highlighters and other stationery supplies are welcome along with bags and cases to keep them organized. And speaking of staying organized, sticky notes, folders, and binders are a great way to keep students’ papers organized and help them be ready to succeed in their new school year.

July Community Swap

July Community Swap

It’s time for the Bridgton Public Libraries community swap and this month’s theme is arts and craft supplies. Have some paint brushes you haven’t used in a while, some old sketchbooks with blank pages still, or maybe you’ve been meaning to de-stash sewing or knitting supplies. Here is a way to give them a second life and help someone add to their supplies. We’ll be hosting our swaps on July 2nd and 9th from 10-2 PM and you can also enjoy artists in the courtyard July 8th for Bridgton’s Second Saturday Art Walk. In the event of rain, the swap will be held off until weather improves, or we will wait till the following swap date.
