Donation Day Coming Up this Month!

Join us at Bridgton Public Library for a special Donation Day at the Book Shed on April 25th from 11AM to 2PM—a wonderful opportunity to share your love of reading while giving back to your community.

We warmly welcome your gently used books, which play an important role in sustaining the library services and programs so many of us rely on and enjoy. From storytimes and youth programming to lifelong learning opportunities and community events, your donations help keep these offerings vibrant and accessible to all.

Each book you contribute becomes part of something bigger. Donations collected throughout the year support our much-anticipated annual Book Sale, generously organized by the Friends of Bridgton Public Library. This beloved event not only brings readers together but also raises essential funds that go directly back into the library—helping us grow our collections, enhance our programs, and continue serving as a welcoming space for connection and discovery.

As you do a bit of spring cleaning or make room on your shelves for new reads, consider setting aside books to donate. Whether it’s a well-loved novel, a children’s favorite, or a nonfiction title ready for a new reader, your contributions truly make a difference.

We hope you’ll stop by the Book Shed, say hello, and be part of this ongoing effort to support the library and the community we’re so proud to serve.

We’ll see you there!
