Celebrate winter
Join us for our annual Winter Reads! It’s the perfect time of year to settle in with some excellent books. Check out the most recent best sellers, or go back and re-read some classic titles. Keep track of your reading (audiobooks and ebooks are also fine), and earn tickets for our grand prize raffle. This is for all ages.

Looking for some hands-on activities for your young explorers ? Check out one of our Activity Kits and learn more about Weather, Construction, Emotions, Ecology, Art, and more. Consortium members must pick up and return these items at our circulation desk.
We are very lucky here in Bridgton for those who enjoy winters outside! Thanks to the generosity of Loon Echo Land Trust, we have snowshoes and poles available for checkout through the season. These are first come, first served, but we can put holds on sets if they are all checked out.
And we encourage you to explore the trails through Pondicherry Park, as well as other LELT and public trails.

The Bridgton Public Library is a part of the Chickadee Library Consortium including the Harrison, Naples, Casco, and Raymond libraries. We share our resources and collections to support all of the communities we serve. At least one of these libraries is open each day of the week, and a library card from any of these five libraries will grant you access to the collections of the entire consortium.
Check out our Of Interest selections in our Main Library. For the month of January we will highlight Muslim-American Heritage Month and Poverty Awareness Month. Our New Titles include fiction, mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, nonfiction, audiobooks, and DVDs. Learn something new with our Great Courses resources or discover a new hobby in our Nonfiction Reading Room (try the 600’s and 700’s for pet care, gardening, cooking, and crafts)
We look forward to seeing you at the library!
Sincerely,
Bridgton Public Library Staff
