Today is the Day, Donation Day!

Today’s the day! Used Book Donation Day 📚

The Friends of the Bridgton Public Library invite you to drop off your gently used books at the Book Shed from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Your donated books help support library programs and community events all year long — it’s a great way to give your books a second life and share the joy of reading with others in Bridgton!

A few quick reminders:
-We can’t accept books stored in damp basements or garages
-No moldy, stained, or damaged books, please
-We’re unable to take dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, or VHS tapes

Thank you for helping us keep our library strong and our community connected! We’re grateful for your donations.

Children’s Halloween, Thank You!

We had such a great turnout for our Children’s Halloween Costume Party during storytime last week. Lots of Halloween fun was had, from an exciting story, to a costume parade, prizes, food and more!

We are so grateful for our littlest community members and for all the joy and creativity brought to our space— from tiny superheroes and sparkly fairies to spooky ghosts and clever book characters, there was so much excitement all around.

Thank You, Bridgton families! 👻

Events like this remind us how special our Bridgton community is. Your smiles, enthusiasm, and support make the library such a fun and welcoming place to gather and grow together.

We’re already looking forward to our next family event — until then, keep reading, creating, and using your imagination for more fun-filled times at the Library! 📚💛
