Storytime this Friday!

Reduce, reuse, recycle—and read! Join us for a fun and engaging Recycling Storytime this Friday at 10:00 AM at Bridgton Public Library.

We’ll share stories all about caring for our planet, discover simple ways to help the environment, and enjoy songs, activities, and a creative craft inspired by recycling and reusing everyday materials.
Storytime is a wonderful opportunity for little ones and their caregivers to learn, play, and explore together. As spring blooms blossom around us, it’s the perfect time to celebrate our Earth and the small ways we can all make a difference.

We hope you’ll join us this Friday for a morning of stories, creativity, and eco-friendly fun! 🌎♻️📚

Emotional Wellness Highlight

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and our second focus this month is Emotional Wellness. Our wellness section invites readers to pause, reflect, and reconnect through stories and self help books that are sure to help you ease and refocus.

Featuring thoughtful titles such as Conquering Fear, Good Habits, Bad Habits, Inspired, Thinking, Fast and Slow, and The Grieving Brain, this collection explores the ways we think, adapt, heal, and grow. From understanding our habits to navigating loss and embracing change, these books offer insight into the many layers of emotional well-being one may face through the lifespan.
Sometimes, wellness begins with a fresh perspective—a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and give ourselves the grace to process life’s challenges. Consider this month an invitation to explore, reflect, and perhaps discover a new way forward.

We hope you’ll stop by, browse the collection, and find a book that meets you where you are.

We’ll be here every step of the way!
