Bendable Maine is a new learning resource

Bendable Maine is a new learning resource

The Bendable Maine team is happy to officially introduce Bendable Power Hours. This is our bi-weekly series where Mainers can hop onto Zoom and learn something new. All Power Hours are taught by local experts in our own Maine communities.

We are kicking off the Power Hour series with a creative writing class taught by Mark Macey! Mark is a playwright and director, currently serving as the Artistic Director of Stage East in Eastport.

Mark will guide intuition-based exercises and offer strategies for enhancing your artistic practice. All skill levels and Mainers are welcome to this free, virtual event. We hope to see you there!

Please join us on February 24th at 6:00pm EST and spread the word with any folks who want to set their writing free.

Find Your Voice

Find Your Voice

There are many different ways to express yourself in writing. It can be a poem, short story, novel, manual, cookbook, graphic novel, or simply a journal. Writing is an essential way to unpack and process your experiences, to look at things through a new lens, to share your vision with others.

Join us for our Youth Voice at Bridgton Public Library; a time dedicated to teens and young adults to enjoy a beautiful reading room, share your thoughts, and get some creative support. We’ll have some journals, beautiful pens and pencils, coffee, tea, snacks, writing ideas, and peer support. Get in touch with Racheal if you have any questions.
