Events and Programs for November

Events and Programs for November

Please come join the Friends of Bridgton Library at the Book Shed on Saturday, November 6th from 9:00 am-noon for some great books at even better prices. All funds raised go to help the Library pay for programs and services for library users of all ages. With the proceeds of the summer book sale the Library was able to purchase 72 new nonfiction titles for youth services, including health, finance, vehicles, history, and countries around the world. Thank you, Friends, for your hard work and thank you to all those who support our book sales!

Library Updates: Building

Library Updates: Building

We are ready for some celebrations of gratitude as we enjoy this year and look forward to the next. Our courtyard is still lovely, and we will keep our courtyard tables and chairs out until November 15th. Please enjoy our beautiful outside and our welcoming inside.  Masks are requested while you are in the building, and we are still limiting people to 30 minute visits.

While we are ready for celebration, our building is still under some maintenance. We are updating our elevator, it is still out of service. We will let you know as soon as its available for use. We are also repairing our Church Street entrance and are asking people to use the Main Street doors from the courtyard for both upstairs and downstairs. And finally, they are working on Church Street as part of the town water project, so the road has recently been closed to traffic.

However, we are still here and still open. We continue to offer no-contact services are still available by request.  We are happy to package up your holds and bring them out to you or mail them to your home. Please call (207-647-2472) or email (bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us) for more information.
