January Happenings
January is here and full of good things for 2024.
Please join us for our annual Winter Read. Available for kids and adults, all month you can earn raffle tickets for each book you read. If you read 4 or more books in the month, earn double raffle tickets! The drawing will be Friday, February 2nd and we will call the lucky winners.

Snowshoes are available here for one-week checkout thanks to the generosity of Loon Echo Land Trust. While we wait for snow, you can also try out our new Outdoor Adventure packs that include information about birds, trees, and rocks, also available for one-week checkout. We would love for you to get outside and enjoy the winter days.

We offer one-on-one assistance to help people sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program, a special discount offered through the federal government for those who qualify. Get up to $30 off of your Internet connection every month through this program. Ready to learn more about the Internet, how to use a Chromebook, or how to use your smartphone? We can help you sign up for an online workshop through the National Digital Equity Center. Need help with finding an affordable computer? We can help you sign up for available programs today.

Looking for something to do with your little ones? Join us on Fridays for Storytime here at the Library from 10-11 am. We will have a story, a craft, and a snack to share. Our staff is happy to help caregivers and kids with their activities.
And we always have Legos, coloring pages, activity kits, and opportunities to play and explore in our youth services area. Cuddle up in a bean bag with a book, do a puzzle, and enjoy our space.

Our staff is always available and happy to talk about their favorites! Try a new type of book, learn about a new topic, listen to an audiobook, or download an ebook. Happy Reading!
Sincerely,
Amy Stone
