Preptober Week 4: Writing Schedule

Preptober Week 4: Writing Schedule

National novel writing month starts November 1st and the last bit of preparation is planning out when you’ll write your novel. 1, 667 words a day can seem like a lot, so try doing a few 30-40 minute writing sessions during the week and then try for 4,250 words over the weekend. Don’t forget to keep track of your word count and stop by the Bridgton Public Library for more resources or attend our writer’s cafe every Saturday 1:30-2:30 pm.

Preptober Week 3: Detailing Your Outline

Once you have your story idea and a few characters ready to inhabit your world it’s time to get down to details and complete your plot points. Write down all your scenes and get them organized and see where you want the highs and lows of your story to be.
