Poetry Express from the Maine Humanities Council

Community members are INVITED TO PARTICIPATE by selecting a poem, discussing it in a workshop, and reading in a community setting. Poems will be available in July, and participants will select their favorite outdoor place to record their reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to share the place you love and the poem that speaks to you. Census 2020: Everyone Counts!

There is a lot going on in the world, and in our own backyards, but it is REALLY important to complete the Census 2020!  The online survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete. Please answer your household survey today. https://2020census.gov/en/ways-to-respond.html

This information is used to determine funding for schools, roads, emergency services, hospitals, and state funding. Today the national response rate is 62%, Maine is 53.5%, and Bridgton is 35.6% . For more information on response rates click here:  https://2020census.gov/en/response-rates.html
