A little green in your life….

Learn how to start perennial and annual herbs from seed indoors! We’ll cover ideal light and temperature conditions, essential seed starting supplies, creating a seed starting calendar and caring for your herbs once they are planted outside. Participants will be able to select two perennials herb varieties for them to plant and take home. Presented by Pamela Hargest, UMaine Cooperative Extension.Please join us Saturday, February 8th, 10:00am-noon. Brought to you by the Friends of the Bridgton Public Library.

Ring in the new year in a new way. Create a SoulCollage!

If you know how to use scissors and glue, you can make a SoulCollage card. Not a folded greeting card to send in the mail, but a personal mini-collage to keep for yourself. No background in art or specific artistic talent is required.  You do not have to draw anything from scratch. Beginner and experienced SoulCollagers welcome. A large assortment of recycled magazine images will be provided for your use. It’s easy, meaningful and fun!

Join us Saturday, January 11th, 12:30-2:30 in the Meeting Room at the BPL. Pre-registration appreciated but not required. Bring a friend and have a great time creating! Funding provided by the Friends of the Bridgton Public Library.
