Library of Things: Cooking

Library of Things: Cooking

The Bridgton Public Library is building a Special Collection of items that are not your ordinary library items. We have added a Food Dehydrator and Instant Pot to our collection for you to try.

While checking out some of our awesome cookbooks:

we thought you might like to try some new tools before you decide to invest in your own.

Each item goes out for one week and requires an adult to sign out. So go ahead, and try creating something new today!

We will be having a Food Preservation-Drying Program here presented by UMaine Cooperative Extension on Saturday, August 4th as well. Please register here:

Writer’s Workshop

Please join us for the last in our Writer’s Workshop Series happening on Saturday, July 28th 1-2:30 in our meeting room. Local author and memoir mentor Joan Hunter will be available to guide you through your writing process and offer feedback on your work in a supportive and informal setting.

You may pre-register or just stop in; there is no cost thanks to the gracious sponsorship of the Friends of the Bridgton Library. Please contact the Main Circulation Desk (207-647-2472) if you have any questions or require more information.
