Cabin fever remedy available at the BPL…

While we are not accepting book donations until March 1st, we are accepting other donated items. We are looking for art supplies for our Crafternoons, starting Wednesday, January 15th 12:30-2:30 in our Meeting Room. Have any old or partially used materials that you are not sure what to do with? Bring them on in and we will give them new life!

Cleaning up after the holidays? We will be happy to accept your holiday cards you no longer need. Just snip the cover from any personal notes, and donate them in the big gift box over by the DVDs. We will use these as a Crafternoon workshop idea for participants to try out.

Please consider joining us for a Crafternoon, an open creative workshop space available for anyone to try, 12:30-2:30 in our Meeting Room on Wednesday afternoons starting January 15th. Bring a friend, and come create something.

Pre-register, or just drop by. We look forward to seeing you.

Youth Services has your winter covered

Miss Samantha has been working on some great inside projects for winter. Join us in learning about Peru with our Cultural To-Go bag. Or Build Your Own Board Game with our STEAM To-Go bag this month. Our Winter Reading program is set to start Tuesday, January 21st, making reading just that much more fun! We also have audio books, DVDs, Activity Kits, and awesome new and classic books available for checkout.

And if you are experiencing a little cabin fever, join us here at the Library for board games, lego-building, Tunes for Tots (Tuesday 10-10:30 am), and Baby Laptime (Wednesday, 9:30-10am), and Storytime (Friday 10-11am). We have coloring stations, books to browse, and computers for youth use.

So whether you use it here or bring something home, we have some great choices for keeping busy hands and minds busy.
