Please join us for a special week of creative projects in our Youth Services led by our fantastic intern, Miss Ketzia. Write some poetry (Poetry Pioneer 8/15 , ages 7-14), create your own book (Build a Book 8/18, ages 5-18), write a note to a senior citizen who would love to hear from you (all week, all ages), or all of the above.

Food Preservation Series

Food Preservation Series

Please join Katy McCarty from the UMaine Cooperative Extension for hands-on demonstrations of drying and canning. Preserve your harvest from the Community Garden or from your own backyard. Please pre-register and take home some tasty samples. Funding provided by the Friends of the Bridgton Library.

The Drying workshop is at the Bridgton Public Library Meeting Room on Saturday, August 4th, 1:00-2:00. The Canning workshop is at the Bridgton Community Center on Saturday, September 15th, 1:00-3:30.

And don’t forget, we have a Food Dehydrator and Instant Pot available for one-week checkout as part of our Special Collections!
