A 21st century community resource
Maine Children’s author Tamra Wight is bringing her Junior Library Guild-selected “Cooper and Packrat” series to Bridgton on Friday, July 13th 2:00-3:30. She will talk about her hands-on wildlife research and how it inspired this middle-school series. She will also show wildlife photos and tell first-hand stories of the wildlife scenes she has witnessed!
This event is suitable for all ages. All four books will be available for purchase and signing.
Miss Samantha has been working with some very dedicated volunteers to bring the Storybook Trail back to Pondicherry Park this summer. Look for Red Fox at Hickory Lane, a little further along the trail than previous installations.
We will also be enjoying a history walk on Saturday, July 21st, 1:00-2:30 with the help of the Bridgton Historical Society’s Michael Davis this summer. Learn about old farms and how people used to live, then make a fun craft at the Bridgton Library to bring home.
