Inclusive Internship Initiative Update

Inclusive Internship Initiative Update

The Bridgton Public Library has received a grant award from the Public Library Association for the Inclusive Internship Initiative, part of a nation-wide program to spark interest in librarianship as a career possibility to high school students. Bridgton Public Library is the only library in Maine to receive this award this year. We are very proud of Miss Samantha, our Youth Services Librarian who wrote the grant proposal and will be the mentor for our lucky intern.

Thank you to all who applied. Miss Samantha met many qualified youth here in our community, and the Library looks forward to welcoming our new summer intern soon.
