Chickadee Library Consortium

Chickadee Library Consortium

Welcome to the new consortium for Bridgton, Harrison, Naples, Casco, and Raymond. Our shared online catalog and reciprocal borrowing will make it easier to find the items you are looking for and to access the collections at all 5 libraries.

The have been some changes to the online catalog. To make sure everyone has a unique login, you will now need your library card barcode and your password. If you don’t have your library card handy, that’s okay. We can provide you with an updated card. If you do have your Bridgton library card, but it has fewer than 14 digits, please add the following to the beginning of the number to make it 14 digits: 2400900

If you place a hold on an item from another library, it will automatically be sent to your home library in 1-2 weeks. If you would like an item faster, please do not place a hold using the online system, but contact us (207-647-2472 or bplreference@bridgton.lib.me.us)

Please remember, we are here to help you if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Online Catalog Update

We are starting a new library consortium! The Chickadee Library Consortium, serving Raymond, Casco, Naples, Bridgton, and Harrison, is launching next week. We will be merging our online catalogs this upcoming weekend, Friday, 10/13 through Monday, 10/16. Our online catalog will be unavailable during this update.

Bridgton Public Library will be open our regular hours, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. We will be able to check items in and out. We will not be able to access any other account information during this update.

Here is a flyer with all of the things you need to know to get started.
