Children’s Author Visit: Mary Atkinson

Children’s Author Visit: Mary Atkinson

Join us on this Tuesday at 11am for another great children’s event. Author Mary Atkinson will talk with children, share an activity and sign  books.

Mary’s book “Owl Girl” is a fun entertaining summer read for children of all ages.  Her character Holly, a seven year old girl, captures the genuine spirit and nature of children and the emotions they face when learning to take risks, work through relationships and explore their world.

“Holly’s stuck at the lake for summer vacation, Usually she loves the lake. But not this year. This year, Mom and Dad aren’t staying. Her older brother Nick won’t play with her, and Gram never lets her do anything. When Holly hears the ancient and mysterious call of an owl, she’s certain he’s calling just to her.” – Mary Atkinson

Owl Girl is a novel for ages 6 to 10.
