We Will be Closed through April 7th

Our building will be closed to the public through Tuesday, April 7th. All programs, workshops, and activities are canceled. All items that have been checked out will have updated due dates. We are working with libraries that have already loaned us materials through Interlibrary Loan and will address those as needed. We will not be able to accept any new Interlibrary Loan requests at this time.

Please call us at 647-2472 or use our online catalog to request Holds and make Purchase Suggestions. We hope to be open for limited services soon with your health and safety in mind.

We would like to remind you that cloudLibrary is available, and there is open access to our Wi-Fi as well. Portland Public Library is making special online guest accounts available, so you can take advantage of their expanded online databases and services.

Library Services You May Want to Remember…

We know there are lots of concerns out there right now, so this is just a reminder these are some Library Services you may want to use:

Book Drop Return is always available. The books will be cleaned as they are removed from the Drop.

Holds through our BPL Online Catalog. Just sign in with your user name and password. We will call to confirm when your request is ready for pickup. Currently we hold items behind our Main Circulation Desk for up to one week.

Downloadable audio and ebooks available through the cloudLibrary

Renewals online or by phone. If you aren’t able to renew your items online please contact us by phone (207-647-2472)

24-7 Wi-Fi available in our parking lot or Courtyard. If you don’t have Internet at home, please use ours to stay connected to the world.

We are are Partner Area Library with Portland Public Library. We have uploaded a printable pdf. If you can’t come into the building, you can drop a copy of the application AND a photocopy of a valid picture ID and we will call to confirm. They have some wonderful online resources we don’t, so this is a real gift. Partner Library Application

To-Go Bags for kids and adults will continue to be available, just grab and go. We have cleaned all items and washed our hands before putting them together!
