Friends of the BPL at Harrison Food Bank

At the Harrison Food Bank on Tuesday of this week members of the Friends distributed 40 book bags (200 books) in less than an hour and 30 minutes. About half of the people who came to get food were also interested in getting some food-for-thought books.

This is an exciting project doing a lot of good for many people in need through the Food Bank – an awesome organization. Thank you again, Harrison Food Bank, for supporting the community in so many essential ways.

And please remember, Donation Day at the Book Shed is Saturday, October 3rd, 9:00 am – noon. Bring your books to us, and we will make sure they find good homes and happy readers!
